Leap Frogs (4-5 years)

The Leap Frog class (ages 4-5) maintains a teacher-to-child ratio of 1:7, and children attend four or five days per week, Monday through Friday. A child must be at least 4 years old and potty trained by August 31st of the year the child will attend. The Leap Frog class is busy getting ready for entrance into kindergarten. A typical day includes an interactive circle time, fun in different learning centers, a themed craft or activity and outside play. Our class this year has pets – two special degus named Peanut Butter and Jelly! – that children are allowed to care for during the week. Families can sign up to watch these special pets over the weekend. Each child has a job for the day (from line leader to plant helper to shape announcer) which helps build self-esteem and ownership of the classroom.

The 2016-2017 tuition schedule for this class is $305 per month for four days a week and $330 per month for five days a week.

All DCP classes meet from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., September through May, with holiday closures.
